Hale Soygazi
Hale Soygazi, born on September 21, 1950, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a distinguished actress and former beauty queen. After studying French philology at university, she was crowned Miss Turkey in 1973, which launched her into modeling before transitioning to film.
Her cinematic debut came as the lead in *Kara Murat*, starring opposite the legendary Cüneyt Arkın. She earned critical acclaim and her first Golden Orange Award for Best Actress in 1978 for her powerful performance in *Maden*. Among her notable works is the film *Çocuğumu İstiyorum*, in which she acted alongside her then-husband, folk singer Ahmet Özhan. The couple later divorced, and she subsequently married Murat Belge.
