Katerina Didaskalou

Katerina Didaskalou is a celebrated Greek actress known for her work across film, theater, and television. Born in Athens, she spent her childhood moving between cities across Greece, accompanying her father, a senior judge. After completing high school, she pursued studies at the Philosophical School of Athens and trained at the Drama School of the National Theatre, where she graduated with distinction. Her talent earned her a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation, enabling her to study film acting at Columbia University and theater acting at the Uta Hagen HB Studio in New York.

Didaskalou made her television debut in 1990 with the ANT1 series *The Yellow Envelope*, followed by a role in the ET2 series *O Phobos* the next year. In 1991, she also stepped into cinema with her first film, *Two Suns in the Sky*, directed by Giorgos Stamboulopoulos. On stage, she gained recognition for her leading role in Antonis Tsipianitis's play *The Whore from Above*.

Beyond her performances, Didaskalou played a prominent ceremonial role, participating in the Olympic Flame lighting ceremonies for both the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Her career reflects a deep commitment to the craft, with a diverse body of work that spans decades and showcases her versatility as an actress.
