Lidya Akkuş

Lidya Akkuş first captured attention with her performances in *Defne* (2025) and *Ahtapot* (2019). Born in Istanbul in 2011, she began her acting journey at a young age, appearing in commercials, public service announcements, and television dramas while still in primary school.

Her breakout moment arrived in 2021 when she took on the lead role in the short film *Ahtapot* (Octopus). The performance earned her the Best Child Actor award at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival, and the film itself was selected for prestigious showcases including the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, along with numerous other international screenings.
