Born in Tokyo in 1999, Konatsu Kato’s path to stardom began with a chance discovery in the bustling streets of Harajuku during her junior high years. That serendipitous encounter opened doors to a steady stream of commercial work, but her breakthrough came when she triumphed over 700 hopefuls in a rigorous audition, landing the pivotal role of heroine Aiko Asō. This performance marked her television debut and quickly established her as a rising talent.

Kato further showcased her range in the web film "Haru," a project that earned the prestigious SUNRISE CineAD Award in the BRANDED SHORTS category at the 2018 Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia. Now, she steps into her first leading role in a TV drama with "Toritateya Honeys," airing on dTV channel and Hikari TV.
