Divya Bharti

Divya Bharti (February 25, 1974 – April 5, 1993) was a luminous Indian actress whose brief but dazzling career left an enduring mark on cinema. She made her screen debut in 1990 with the Telugu film *Bobbili Raja*, quickly becoming a sought-after star in South Indian films. Her transition to Bollywood came with the 1992 action drama *Vishwatma*, where her spirited performance, particularly in the chart-topping song "Saat Samundar Paar," won widespread acclaim.

Between 1992 and 1993, Bharti appeared in over a dozen Hindi films, showcasing remarkable versatility in a short span. Her vivacious energy and natural charm made her one of the most promising talents of her generation, with hits like *Shola Aur Shabnam* and *Dil Ka Kya Kasoor* solidifying her popularity.

Tragically, her rising career was abruptly halted on April 5, 1993, when she died after falling from her apartment in Mumbai. She was just 19 years old.
