Raymund Emmanuel Parcon Marasigan is a pivotal figure in the Philippine music scene, celebrated as both a musician and record producer. He rose to prominence as the drummer, primary lyricist, and occasional vocalist for the iconic rock band Eraserheads. His sharp, witty songwriting contributed significantly to the band’s catalog, which includes landmark albums like *Ultraelectromagneticpop!*, *Circus*, and *Cutterpillow*. These releases helped define the sound of 1990s Filipino rock and remain deeply influential.

Following the Eraserheads’ hiatus, Marasigan continued to shape the local alternative scene. He co-founded the bands Sandwich and Pedicab, where he expanded his role as a frontman and songwriter. He also played for the supergroup Cambio. In addition to his rock projects, he explores electronic music under the alias Squid 9, showcasing his versatility. As a producer, Marasigan has worked with numerous Filipino artists, helping to craft the sound of a generation.
