This behind-the-scenes glimpse at a small town's Renaissance Festival follows an eccentric cast of characters who return each year to unbearable corsets, codpiece tights that leave nothing to the imagination, and stifling animal furs. Through their winding journeys of self-discovery, these heroes and heroines use their shared time to satisfy life's most fundamental longing: to love, be loved, and belong as their authentic selves.
