Drawing from João Marcello Bôscoli's memoir *Elis e Eu: 11 anos, 6 meses e 19 dias com minha mãe*, the film sets out to strip away the legend surrounding Elis Regina and show her as she truly was—a woman, a mother, and a dedicated artist. Through her son's intimate recollections, it offers a deeply personal portrait that moves beyond the public icon to reveal the human being behind the music.
