In the early 1960s, Harry H. Corbett, a stage actor hungry for recognition, seizes the role of rag-and-bone man Harold Steptoe in the TV sitcom *Steptoe and Son*. But the show’s massive success becomes a trap, pigeonholing him and crushing his theatrical dreams.
