Wrong Move (1975)

For six days, we follow Wilhelm, a detached man seemingly devoid of distinct qualities. Aspiring to be a writer, he receives a train ticket to Bonn from his mother, who urges him to truly live. Aboard the train, he encounters an older man—a former athlete from the 1936 Olympics—traveling with his mute teenage companion, Mignon. The girl performs acrobatics in market squares, collecting spare change from passersby.
