Splendor (1989)

Jordan runs the Splendor, a crumbling movie house passed down from his father. The old theater bleeds money and invites endless headaches, yet he clings to it like a fading dream. Alongside him stand Luigi, the devoted projectionist, and Chantale, the loyal usherette, both sharing his stubborn devotion. But when businessman Lo Fazio swoops in with a lucrative offer, Jordan has no choice but to sell—the Splendor destined to become a furniture showroom.
