Hayatımın Kadınısın (2006)

Veterans of the screen Türkan Şoray (46 years in cinema) and Uğur Yücel (21 years) lead this restrained drama. Yücel plays a man who idolized a celebrated stage singer in his youth, attending her concerts when she was at her peak. One quiet afternoon at his seaside restaurant, he spots her for the first time in ages. Entranced, he shadows her for months, learning she has left the stage, divorced her husband, and remarried. Discovering an empty rental in her building, he takes the apartment and moves in.
