Purificacion (2022)

A female detective on the Santa Monica force digs into a string of murders targeting local women. Her investigation soon zeroes in on the recently arrived parish priest, Father Purificacion, whose calm exterior and mysterious past make him the prime suspect. As she peels back layers of his history and the circumstances around each victim, she’s forced to question whether his saintly reputation is a shield—or a disguise for something far more sinister lurking beneath.
