This documentary chronicles Canadian-born defenseman Luke Prokop, who becomes the first—and remains the only—athlete under an NHL contract to publicly come out as gay. Raised in Edmonton amid Canada's rugged, frequently homophobic hockey landscape, and lacking any gay sports figures to look up to, Luke's journey toward openness was far from simple.
