Buoyancy (2019)

A young Cambodian boy, trusting and naive, is trafficked by a Thai agent into brutal servitude aboard a fishing vessel. Surrounded by the daily horrors of his fellow captives being beaten and killed, he begins to question if his own survival depends on matching the savagery of his oppressors. The line between victim and monster blurs as he contemplates a desperate, violent path to freedom.
