Roseanna (1993)

In Sweden's largest waterway, the Gota Canal, the body of a young American woman surfaces, leaving investigators with almost no evidence to work with. The case seems impossible to crack, but Martin Beck and his team take it on anyway. Before long, they zero in on a promising suspect. Teaming up with a female officer, they launch a tense game of pursuit, trying to outmaneuver the killer before he slips away for good.
