Memory (2026)

Following her parents' divorce, six-year-old Vladlena relocates from Crimea to Grozny, unaware of what awaits. When war erupts in Chechnya, her city and family are profoundly shaken. Years afterward, filmmaker Sandu revisits her childhood in this poetic, autobiographical hybrid film, examining how violence's cycles leave their mark on children—and how healing and transformation remain within reach.
