Spacely is furious when he learns that his competitor, Cogswell, has snagged the "Tycoon of the Day" Award. In his desperation to outshine Cogswell, he imposes a grueling "Triple-Shift" on his employees. After enduring 24 hours of intense pressure from Spacely, George inadvertently incites a strike among the human workers at Spacely Sprockets. Meanwhile, George faces a personal dilemma when he accidentally wrecks Elroy's athlete robot, "Jocko." In a bid to win over his son, he attempts to take on the role of the robot himself.
