In a futuristic England, an enigmatic anti-matter entity descends upon Earth, launching an assault on UNIT headquarters. Its target appears to be the Doctor, but the reason remains a mystery. With the Time Lords unable to intervene, it becomes clear that the only one who can assist the Doctor is none other than himself—or rather, his other selves.
