The Doctor finds himself imprisoned by Chase, who intends to cultivate the stolen Krynoid pod for his own sinister purposes. Trapped in a mechanical composting system, the Doctor's fate hangs in the balance. Only Sarah Jane has the chance to rescue him, but time is running out as the Krynoid rapidly approaches maturity.
