The Lyons suspect that the Dubois family is behind their recent turmoil, but with no one willing to share any details, Cookie decides to take action herself. Meanwhile, Jamal and Lucious make significant progress on a song they've been collaborating on, leading to Andre's frustration boiling over. In the midst of all this, Cookie also begins plotting a new venture for Empire in Las Vegas.
