Reed's TV is on the fritz, so he enlists the help of his Boy Scout neighbor, who has an electronics merit badge, to fix it. Meanwhile, the team deals with several cases, including chasing a teenager on a modified minibike, investigating a woman suspected of killing her husband and burying him in the yard, and a robbery carried out by a long-haired woman in high heels. Additionally, a picket line at a local store is resolved when the lead picketer discovers her date with the store manager was based on a lie about his job.
