Lights Out (2011)

S01E01 Pilot

Patrick "Lights" Leary, a former heavyweight boxing champion, finds himself grappling with his sense of self after hanging up his gloves. He’s also concerned about how to provide for his wife Theresa, who is a medical resident, and their three daughters. The series kicks off five years post-retirement, following a controversial split-decision defeat against Richard "Death Row" Reynolds. The Leary family's once stable life is now precarious; the IRS is threatening to seize their mansion, and Patrick's brother and manager, Johnny, is pushing for a comeback, despite Patrick showing early signs of pugilistic dementia.
