Gabriel, a krypto-mutant, breaks into missile systems, plotting to eradicate all krypto-mutants in Smallville permanently. Unable to access his powers, Clark faces Gabriel but is struck by gunfire. Only Jor-El possesses the ability to rescue him from the brink of death.
