Abby and Carter head to Oklahoma with the mission of saving Abby's mother, who is battling mental illness, and bringing her back to Chicago. Meanwhile, in Chicago, Maggie faces a crisis after overdosing on sleeping pills. At County General, Kovac works desperately to bring her back to consciousness.
