Choi Geom, the General Spirit serving Cha Woong's family, urges him to embrace his destiny as a shaman, insisting it's better than the alternative. Yet, Cha Woong stands strong against Geom's curse, determined not to yield. Eventually, Geom presents a different option. Cha Woong decides to enlist in the Civil Police Unit led by Seul Hae.
