Brooke finds it challenging to elicit honest responses from her latest patient, Laila, who has been brought to therapy by her worried grandmother due to some recent "life choices." However, as the session progresses, Brooke shifts her approach, encouraging the 18-year-old to reclaim her sense of agency and make her own decisions.
