During the church's "bring and buy" event, attendees are in for a surprise when Hyacinth enlists Richard to tackle the electrical issues of the hall, despite his complete ignorance of electrical work. At the same time, Onslow, Daisy, and Rose arrive with their father, who is convinced he has returned to wartime.
