Don makes the bold choice to elevate Jack as his successor instead of Devon, prompting Jack to pass his previous position to Liz, who has consistently supported him. However, an unexpected health issue with Don jeopardizes Jack’s new role. Concurrently, Tracy becomes concerned that his son feels ashamed of his profession when he isn't invited to the school’s Father’s Day celebration.
