Vince Faraday, a former police sergeant, finds himself unjustly accused of being the infamous criminal known as Chess and is nearly killed by the corrupt security forces of the ARK corporation. With guidance from Max Malini and a band of skilled bank robbers with carnival talents, Vince sets out to combat the corruption plaguing Palm City, facing off against adversaries like Chess and Scales. Assuming the identity of The Cape, he must rely on the enigmatic blogger Orwell to aid him in his quest for justice, all while leaving his wife and son behind.
