Khyati, Sati's sister, begs Saptarishi Bhrigu to intervene and prevent their father from inflicting more punishment on Sati. Prasuti also attempts to sway Daksh's decision. However, the Prajapati remains resolute in his desire for vengeance against Shiva for what he perceives as humiliation through Sati.
