Barbara is determined to embrace her responsibilities as a Star Bearer, even though Barbie is worried about her well-being. Disturbed by the ongoing issues in the children's wing, Barbara reflects on whether the situation might have been better if the former leader were still in charge. At the same time, John is in his quarters reading a letter from Kate. A particular detail within the letter leaves him stunned and shaken.
