After a retired judge's son is accidentally shot by Festus while defending Kitty, the judge takes matters into his own hands by kidnapping Kitty, Festus, and Doc. He puts Kitty and Festus on trial for murder, coercing Doc to act as their lawyer in this twisted scenario.
