Stricken by remorse for ignoring his instincts during a domestic disturbance call, Tom is devastated when the woman involved is later reported missing and presumed dead. Partnering with Katherine, he embarks on a mission to find the missing woman and unravel the mystery surrounding the chief suspect in her disappearance, who has also been murdered. As they dig deeper, they must confront their own emotions and the chilling truths that lie beneath the surface of the case.
