Andell is eager to have some private moments with her new boyfriend, Lester, but Nikki's constant presence makes it difficult. To solve this, she secretly sets up a blind date for Nikki with Johnnie. Initially, Nikki is taken aback at the thought of betraying Professor Oglevee but finds herself drawn to Johnnie as they discover their shared interests. Meanwhile, Mavis rejects Woody's marriage proposal, leaving him disheartened. In his sadness, he decides to move out and takes up residence with Professor Oglevee.
