Unit N07 successfully tracks down the vortex, only to discover that the Sovereignty has already taken control of it. When Mismis is taken prisoner, Iska is forced to battle Kissing, a pureblooded warrior, in a desperate bid to rescue her before the Empire launches an assault on the Sovereignty's stronghold.
