Felipe and Lillian have embraced a very traditional way of life, often referred to as 'tradlife.' Lillian has set aside her career goals to join the rising trend of 'tradwives,' choosing to adopt a more submissive role in her marriage to Felipe. As the primary breadwinner, Felipe takes on the responsibility of supporting the family financially, while Lillian fulfills the role of a 1950s-style homemaker. She manages cooking, cleaning, ironing, and home-schooling their two young children, always deferring to Felipe, whom she views as "the boss," in all family matters.
