Robert begins a relationship with Kammy, Bobby's new karate instructor, which strains their father-son relationship. Bobby, harboring his own crush on Kammy, decides to take action to win her affection. At the same time, Dirk seeks Neesee's assistance in the kitchen to prepare for a special dinner to impress his new love interest, Clarinetta, leading to some last-minute cooking lessons.
