Dr. Welby informs Mary Ann Graham, a young wife expecting a baby, that due to her RH-negative blood type, her husband must be made aware of her past pregnancy and abortion. He emphasizes the necessity of a transfusion for their baby at birth and insists that her husband needs to be informed. However, Mary Ann worries that revealing her past mistake will drive him away.
