Muramasa challenges Byakuya Kuchiki, the captain of the 6th Division, to prove his loyalty. Following this trial, Byakuya storms into the 6th Division's barracks, where he encounters a reluctant Renji Abarai, his lieutenant, who stands ready to fight him.
