Patty White, a notorious freeloader, brutally attacks her former roommate, the sweet and gentle Michele O'Dowd, in a misguided effort to steal from her. In a chaotic struggle, she ends up beating and strangling Michele. To cover up her heinous act, Patty resorts to a desperate plan, trying to conceal Michele's body by burying it beneath a pile of Christmas gifts.
