As the Sliders prepare to escape a brutal world, Quinn intervenes to rescue a woman named Michelle from her abusive partner, Sid. Enraged, Sid pursues the Sliders through the vortex. They find themselves in a new reality where San Francisco has become a high-security prison, complicating their already perilous situation.
