During the holiday season, Bill feels an even deeper sense of despair as he faces the anniversary of his wife Lenore's departure. In a moment of hopelessness, he attempts to take his own life, but when that fails, he resorts to wearing Lenore's old outfits and announces that he is now embodying Lenore.
