In a hotel room, the maids stumble upon sheets soaked in blood but discover no body. The room was reserved using a credit card that was stolen from businessman Charles Hutton. The culprit, Rufus Barton, is not only a former classmate of Hutton but also secretly involved with his daughter, Georgia.
