To gain access to the Patch of Shore, Gon and his team must drive away a group of fifteen pirates. They soon confront their leader, Razor, but are swiftly overpowered. Realizing they need more powerful allies, they decide to recruit a player named Chrollo as their first step in strengthening their team for another attempt.
