As she rushes to leave her apartment for a club gig, lounge singer Ellie Riggs faces a series of mishaps, starting with a toilet that won’t stop overflowing. Her well-meaning neighbor, Ingvar, knocks himself out while attempting to assist her. Just when things seem chaotic, a naked doctor arrives to lend a hand. Finally managing to escape, Ellie unexpectedly runs into her ex-boyfriend Edgar, who attempts to "un-invite" her from his upcoming birthday celebration.
