Julie insists on taking her downcast family to the beach for a much-needed getaway, resulting in everyone feeling rejuvenated—except for Julie herself. Ted gets some unexpected guidance from a deceased loved one. Meanwhile, Melissa finds herself in a perilous situation when she experiences a sudden anaphylactic reaction during a barbecue with the Rafters. On another front, Rachel faces the prospect of romance, but she must decide if she’s truly prepared to welcome it into her life.
