S02E07 The Jewel Box, London

Kevin McCloud heads to a quiet street in north London, where a couple are dreaming of a cutting-edge, modern home. They want to bring sleek, hi-tech design to their suburban surroundings, and McCloud is on hand to see how their ambitious plans take shape. As the build gets underway, the challenge of blending futuristic architecture with the area's traditional character comes to the fore, testing both the couple's vision and the limits of modern construction.
