Marjorie comes back to Los Angeles to assist Dave and Deena with their one-year-old's hearing loss, creating friction between newlyweds Adam and Heather. At the same time, Brian is marking his six-week milestone with Bridget, a period when he typically ends relationships. Meanwhile, Nicole struggles to find the perfect nanny, until Deena connects her with the charming and competent Jamie, who seems like the ideal fit.
