Premiering on Australia’s ABC on July 20, 1992, *Bananas in Pyjamas* became a beloved children’s staple, eventually spreading worldwide with dubbed versions in numerous languages. For American viewers, the spelling shifted to "pajamas," and the show aired in syndication from 1995 to 1997 as a half-hour program. Later, it was trimmed to 15 minutes and paired with the short-lived *The Crayon Box*, forming a 30-minute block from Sachs Family Entertainment titled *Bananas in Pajamas & The Crayon Box*. The characters also popped up in the sequel special *Kids for Character: Choices Count*. The pilot episode was "Pink Mug."
